Album Notes

Classically trained as a Cellist, Daniel Staniforth composes in a variety of genres from classical, impressionist, atonal, ambient, and ethereal - whether using traditional orchestral instruments or synthesizers. From traditional to experimental, dark to light and airy - his sophistication and colour finds purchase in the discerning listener. Staniforth also writes and records alternative rock songs under the moniker, Luna Trick. FLOWFORTH PRODUCTIONS has recently two full length CDs from Luna Trick - Total Submersion and Hoar Frost Sheen. Both CDs are full of alternative flavourings and influences from the more creative phases of the last couple of decades. Some comparisons given are the Cure, Bowie, NIN, Radiohead, Beck, etc. - but the songs also contain Staniforth’s unique musical signature.
