Welcome and PEACE to you! Do you know what an integral part of this happenin' universe you are? Come, and step into this world of song, where we sing of global community and oneness! You matter...a lot!

Each of these songs are a reflection of our journey and growing awareness of the ONEness within all of us! God tucked oneness into every corner of our universe; where I see me in you, and you in me, one with the trees, oceans, animals, clear up to the stars, all around it can be found!

There is nothing we can do to undo our oneness or give it back or even make it happen. It has been given and it is done! Our oneness is here to stay, all we need do is recognize and respond to this gracious gift of God that has already been set in place for us all!

S. Rebecca Shinas, OP, Dominican Sister of Mission San Jose, is a composer, prayer leader, storyteller and singer. Her presentations and music reaches into the hearts of all and allows each to know themselves as loved and forgiven by our compassionate and loving God. Her concerts are always LIVE and AWESOME! Jesus truly is the "ROCK IN HER ROLL!"

S. Rebecca received her masters from Santa Clara University in Pastoral Ministries with a speciality in “Spirituality”, hence Sister's love and commitment to interfaith communication and understanding.

Currently S. Rebecca is the Adult Spiritual Formation coordinator at St. Simon Parish in Los Altos, CA., She is a spiritual director and enjoys the personal and communal sharing of God experiences with many.
S. Rebecca believes in ecumenism and feels a strong call, even a passion, if you will, for our young adults, especially the unchurched. There is such a message of love and acceptance she wants them to hold. WE truly are one People, with one God on one Planet!!!

    Sister Rebecca is an absolute shining light in the Catholic Church. Her duties have taken her to other churches these days but she gets to visit our church still now and again. I truly miss her singing, sermons and guitar slingin' but this CD, Radiant Love, is just her best and a pleasure to listen to. Maybe when she finds out I have been playing upright bass at St Charles, she'll bring her guitar down for a song or two??? Anyway, listen to track 4 Listen for the Love and 7 Ocean Mother as just two of the gems on this disc. Much Love, Brett
