Neil Speers is a talented multi-instrumentalist approaching 50,he has a lifetime of musical experience from theatre orchestras, concert bands, rock bands, jazz bands, folk bands .... and has now returned to his humble beginnings - acoustic guitar playing.
This music started out as demo material on Neil's web site to avoid copyright problems - there was so much interest that Neil decided to release the music as a cd - the intention is to create a band to both perform and record this music and other pieces not yet recorded
October 2004 has seen the release of the album - 14 pieces all different in character and feel - all played with skill and passion - demonstrating a unique style of enjoyable, relaxing and original acoustic guitar music.
Neil works as a performing musician and instrumental music teacher.
(Now working on material for second cd - watch this space!).

    This album is unique and captivating due, not only to the excellence of the playing, but also to the changes in mood, style and passion evident in this work. Unlike many other albums, one has the distinct impression that Mr. Speers could reproduce his sounds on any stage, infront of any audience. Wonderful work, Mr. Speers.
