Album Notes

who is speedo harmonica jones really?guitarist anthony guido calls me the most famous unknown person he's ever met.just like john mayall,i've put together some of the best bands in the world and yet i've remained a relatively unknown name in blues circles.i've played with mick taylor, albert collins, charles brown, johnny adams, savoy brown, larry mc.cray, chris youlden, and the climax blues band to name a few.HAVE BLUES WILL TRAVEL was my first release.recorded in nov 1988 it features some of the best recorded guitar work by mick taylor along with soon to be legendary guitar work by jumpin' jon specter.the interplay between mick and myself on BLUES FOR VIC is truly awesome.but don't take my word for it.order a copy for your self.i play every year in sweden and have recorded 2 records over there,a live album in 2003 and a tribute record to mike bloomfield recorded this year.in addition i will be coming out with 2 archive records of vintage material featuring some of the above mentioned artists i've worked with.any comments e mail me at speedoharmonica@aol.com.

What a blow!Wonderful experience hearing this music.Blues with personality, inventiveness and freshness.Together with the great contribution of Mick Taylor, great guitar player with excellent gusto, the cd comprises 45 minutes of great songs with fantastic solos and good technical ability. But the core of it is the soulful attitude.Recommended.
