notes
Spase - The infinite extension of the three-dimensional region in which all matter exists
Tyme - A nonspatial continuum in which events occur in apparently irreversible succession from the past through the present to the future.
Spase + Tyme hail out of the ghettotropolis of Lima, OH...... these guys come with some of the most conscious street-hop to hit the air in years. Surrounded in life by pollution, violence, and post-industrial despair ridden ignorance, Spase + Tyme turn it into something that may spark change. S+T is made up of Killa K on guitar; Hosanna, Jammaj, Dionysis, Whateva, + J Kanizzle on vox; and Hosanna + J Kanizzle on the boards. With help from the rest of the Concentrated Efforts crew, they are definately a force to be reckoned with from the 21'st century through infinity. Enjoy the trax....

next millinium rap
author: free your mindI'm impressed, keep it up. definately next level....
New? Different? No, it is back to standards...
author: Doc Mongoose-bushuraloser.comThe first time I heard rap,[long before it was called hiphop or even spoken word]was 1978.It had this whiter/midwest sound. This is a 20-30 year retro-cycle prime example. There still is too much gheto-gangster guns and bullets going on here.Hiphop won't move ahead until it puts its' old demons to rest. Thanks for moving ahead.
what?!??? (say it like lil jon)
author: ringerRediculous. Not only next level production, theze cats iz tight mc's. Like tha other peeps said, if ya don't like different, you may not feel it. If ya do like different, cop it now, you won't regret. Reminds me of handsome boy modeling school meets saul williams meets mobb deep...and then some. Hidden gem fo sho, midwest is on the come up though. I can see spase + tyme gettin' big outside the states before ignant's here wake up....don't sleep. Quite deep stuff, so if you'd rather hear tipsy, get yo azz to amazon......hip hop lives! Peace.

I want more!
author: MollyAfter hearing this, I can't wait to hear more material from J Kanizzle. This disc is an otherworldly voyage through an abstract universe of heavy beats and intense rhymes. Cool drum-n-bass psychedelic meets ghetto philosopher. I am listening to it over and over again.
Not something you've heard before
author: The MoJoKingSpase & Tyme is an intriguing listen. A cross between spoken word and hip-hop. A combination of the conventional and the innovative. Almost spiritual at times yet very down to earth. Personally, its an album I quickly got comfortable listening to but then at times asked myself if I was weird for liking it. A bit of a hit or miss. Four songs I LOVE and two I just don't like. In total, that makes it mostly hits for me, and a "I'm glad I bought it" album. Quite simply your enjoyment of Spase & Tyme will come down to this. If you want to hear something creative and new this is for you......but it's a bit strange.:>
This cd is a must have in any collection!
author: LilcopakeyThis cd gives you deeper look into an underground hip-hop culture brewing in the mid-west that is shaping rap music for the future.

You don't have to imagine the sizzle... it's all around you, like sitting in a neck-high jacuzzi of groove, sampling the icy chill on a silver platter, sipping down the bubbly that dissolves your apathy and sends your mind to a place of possibility. Steeped in esoteric lyrics, marinated in the breadth of experience and real life knowledge, Spase and Tyme spout out some damn fine alternative hip hop. Appropriate to their namesake, they build three-dimensional tracks with weighty vibes and gravity-defying mixes. Soaked in a sauce of insight and hindsight, "Stealing The Past EP" has something to say.
