Science Will Figure You Out is the debut full-length from acclaimed Boston-area indie-rock band Soltero. The music? One part inspiration traceable to such musicians as Yo La Tengo, Neil Young, Slint, Fugazi, Bright Eyes, Unrest, The Beatles, The Pogues, Portastatic, The Karl Hendricks Trio, The Cure; and one part that je ne sais quoi that makes the music greater than the sum of its influences.

So I'll reprint some snippets of thoughts I had while listening to this CD..... Sounds like Yo La Tengo....nice. Funny, sweet, and tragic all at once. A testament to idealistic love. Full of lovely promises. An angry affirmation. Sage advice. Diverse instrumentals.
