author: Brandon NimzI slightly preferred the song played live, but this is truly a brilliant piece of music and one of my favorite songs OF ALL TIME, bar none... this group has great musical ability and a very interesting "flavor"

author: JessicaMarinero is excellent! Just recently I was experiencing road rage and wanted to relieve the feeling. So I put in Marinero and it did the trick! I was so into the album that I totally forgot how angry the bay area roads make me. Thank You SolJibe!
Fantastic!
author: ChristinaMy sister, who is something of a Soljibe groupie now, told me that I needed to hear their music and that I should start with Marinero as I'm something of a world music buff myself, especially flamenco. Listening to this CD is like enjoying a glass of good Spanish red wine during a feria in Sevilla on a warm evening while watching the flamenco dancers and seeing the stars twinkle above. I can only imagine the energy that Soljibe's music creates in an audience when listened to being performed live!
Seen in Reno, listen in NY, bought in Germany
author: NicolasSol'jibe is awesome. I saw them at the Rip Cook Off 2004 in Reno and I bought the CD about four times. I gave it to friends and siblings. Now I bought Marinero and the have still the great sound. I hope to see them again. Greetz from Germany/Black Forest, Nicolas
Good variety; electric viola is very well played
author: BrandonThe song, "Freefalling," is probably my favorite track off this CD--I heard it once live and knew I had to buy the first CD it came out on. What's great is that the rest of the songs are quite good, too, and there is a large variety of music paces in the CD. The music is superb, and it is very impressive that the group wrote several of the songs themselves. I enjoy the variety and zing that this CD offers. It is a good collection of original music.
