SolarFlare were formed in 2006 and 'A tale of two cities' is their first EP. The band offer the world a mixture of melodic pop songs tinged with vocals that pass comment on the realities of modern day life. The band are Matt SolarFlare (vox and guitars), Martin Packer (vox and bass) and 'Nibbsey' on drums. The band are based in Nottingham, England.
All three band memebers have been in and out of bands for years and decided to form SolarFlare after a chance meeting in a bar. 'A tale of two cities' is a four track EP (with a bonus track remix of Manhattan Slide) that was recorded earlier in 2007. With their catchy guitars and vocal lines, all four tracks are certain to get you singing in the bath.
