SMOKING BIRD was born in 1997 and its four members, Tamargo brothers,I ván on drums, David on guitars, Pablo “Chazz” Lalanda on vocals and Ray Kurtz on bass guitar did what musicians from all eras always did.
They learned how to play their instruments and how to play together. Then they play for people. As simple as that.
In 2005 SMOKING BIRD went back into the studio to record its second full album,the amazing NAUGHTY LITTLE GIRLS.This proudly self produced recording, confirms the personality of the band, who´s love for Rock 'n' Roll hard and pure is evident; drawing from classic sources and converting it into their own original and unique style, leaving behind the latest tendencies and hypes that fill the charts and indie scene, striving to find that beat that comes from the belly ( that Rock 'n' Roll gut feeling) a thing of beauty.
After their first assault on Europe ,SMOKING BIRD is in the record stages of a new release for this year.
