Hildegard Von Bingen, a 12th century abbess, mystic and healer, was one of the Earth's most evolved and visionary individuals. She is also the first composer whose biography is known. Living in a time when few women were accorded respect, Hildegard composed 77 songs, including an "opera" or morality play set to music, which was far ahead of its time.
Artist biography:
Susan Lincoln, a transformational musician from Austin, Texas, is an inspiring voice teacher and sound healer as well as a vocal artist. A classically trained singer, her passion and studies have led her into sound & vibrational healing. Her eclectic journey through opera, sound and energy healing, creative movement, and mystical chant provides a rich soil for spiritual exploration. Riding on the creative wave from her new CD, "Mother Heart - Songs of the Sacred Feminine by Hildegard of Bingen", Susan is currently on a European Concert Tour performing songs from CD and leading a Hilde Girls Retreat, "Journey the Heart of Hildegard", in the Rhine Valley of Germany.
