This album, that was purchased on speculation after hearing CDBaby's clips, is no disappointment, succeeding in opening the rockabilly genre further as it becomes influenced by contemporary styles. I have purposely not used the word fashion, because good music like this transcends fashion, while being informed by contemporary style and developments. This may upset rockabilly purists, but good music like the rockabilly genre never stands still and always has a life of its own that demands fresh ears and pushes the envelope of what has been acceptable. Loved every bit of it. Very cool.Very energetic.

author: Mistress DebraSlick Pelt has so much style and attitude...they are one of my favorite bands ever!.."XXX" is simply fantastic..they mix the tough and romantic elements to rockabilly, surf, and good ol' punk rock to form one of today's most unique and refreshing sounds...Manny's vocals are tantalizing on "Paris" and could certainly make the ladies swoon...check 'em out live...it's one of the most ass kickin' shows you'll see in a long time...Chops is a fierce bass slappin' babe...Mike is intense on geetar...Rubin is smooth as hell on drums...while you're at the show, pick up your copy of "XXX" and bring home a true masterpiece of music history....

author: George Tabb / New York PressThe songs are tight, and they sound like Elvis if he were to jam with Slayer and Link Wray. They have sort of a surf sound, added in there, just for the f**k of it, is some Cramps. This thing rocks.

XXX Rodeo hits you like a hot blast of fresh air...I absolutely can't say enough good things about this band!!
