Sky Smeed has returned with another impressive cd. His amazing ability to put a story to song is a talent not easily found. The disc was over a year in the making and the time spent was well worth it. Kitchen Sink and Taking Me Home have already had listeners call in asking about him. Sky Smeed has a vocal style as distinct as Steve Forbert, a unique sound that wont get lost in the sea of singer/songwriters out there. He's an artist that's just touched on the long road ahead of him. The Front Steps is a cd full of songs that will make other songwriters have to work harder, and for me one of this years most anticipated releases.
