"Here is an OUTSTANDING RECORDING of special interest."
--Chicago DAILY HERALD

"Over the years we've enjoyed the growing list of SKOWRONSKI PLAYS! recordings produced by concert
violinist and Master Teacher VINCENT P. SKOWRONSKI."
"This CD contains two of Beethoven's most familiar works, the engaging early Sonata No.2 in A Major, Opus 12 for Violin and Piano; and the much later Piano Trio No.7 in B-flat Major, Opus 97, the magnificent "Archduke". Keeping with Skowronski's tradition of LIVE RECORDINGS --which capture that special electric quality often missing from studio productions-- these extraordinary performances were taped during actual live 'in hall' concerts."
"Once again, Skowronski joins forces with pianist Ms. Saori Chiba,.... a musical partnership that never ceases
to amaze." --Courtesy of the Chicago DAILY HERALD

Skowronski Plays! Beethoven
author: peter ferreiraI love this entire Beethoven CD. What a splendid rendition of the Sonata in A Major, Opus 12 and truly magnificent performance of the 'Archduke!' BRAVO to all, especially pianist Ms. Saori Chiba. Furthermore, Mr. Skowronski's astounding command of musical space and structure in both Beethoven works showcases his uncommonly persuasive expressiveness, remarkable tone quality and breathtaking lyrical playing. All this, no less, captured LIVE IN CONCERT. This is a 'must have' recording!!

Mr. Skowronski's approach to music making demonstrates his astounding command of musical space and structure, as well as displaying excellent technique, expressive freedom, a beautiful tone and breathtaking lyrical playing. All this and a LIVE recording, too!
