Education: Bachelor of Science/Business Administration. University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff. Resides: Washington, DC Metropolitan Area
Skip Pruitt is a premier saxophonist with a platinum sound. Although he has played nationally and internationally with the likes of Luther Vandross, The Winans, Keith Washington, Michael Bolton, Toni Braxton, Paul Riser, Jenifer Holliday, Phylis Hyman, Chuck Brown and Earl Klugh, this is his season! The wonderful mix of rhythm and blues, gospel, melodious ballads, and even a bit of hip-hop is truly inspiring. I especially enjoyed the smooth sounds of "Eternity", "Always and Forever", and the tremendous duet by Skip and his dad on "Amazing Grace." Skip blows a mean sax and this CD is a great listen to soothe the soul. Great job!
