The Skip Heller Trio goes to Sun Records, the most punk rock studio on the planet and records a disc of music that has its home in the Mississippi River region. Heller originals, plus great compoisitions from WC Handy, Billy Lee Riley, John Hartford, Charlie Rich, and Ralph Stanley.
All About Jazz calls this "Heller's masterpiece to date". But calling this a jazz record might be like calling the Mississippi River "muddy". It just doesn't quiet cover it.

"St. Louis Blues / Mr Crump Don't Like It" is worth the price of the CD, but it's all good!
