about SC:
Formed in 1997, Skin Contact grew out of founder Kevin Breidenbach's interest in both electronic music & computers. Early works were influenced heavily by the EBM & industrial dance music of the 90's, also incorporating other electronic elements. Over time, other influences have crept in, including drum & bass, power/rhythmic noise, IDM, and other forms of electronic music.
2007 sees the release of the fine line EP, the first “official” SC release. Listeners have compared the new material to Monstrum Sepsis, Gridlock, and Zentriert ins Antlitz.
