  • Feel like drinking?

Perfect CD to drink to, sing to, and pass out to. Great album especially for a party when you cant stand the usual rap/hiphop. Awesome album!

  • Makes you Happy

This CD will have you pounding back beer and having a great time before the 2nd song is over.

This is a great cd. It is one of those cd's that you could listen to a thousand times and still never get tired of it. Great buy...

  • Words cannot express adequately how good this CD is
    author: J.M.

This CD is often in my car player and I honestly listen to it over and over. It's not for lack of something else to listen to... I have 1000 other CDs to choose from. If you like rockin' Irish music, mostly about drinkin', then this CD is for you. (The pennywhistle player is amazing.) The songs are all originals and the writing is very good, not to mention the playing. I can't wait for the next release.

  • Out Of Control Great

Pour yourself a pint, gather with some friends and enjoy! The only thing better is to see them live - let the beer fly!

  • kick ass Irish punk trad.
    author: Jime

Great Irish inspired punk relating the stress of the average person in the urban u.s. Excellent use of electric guitars, banjo's, tin whistles and gritty vocals with alot of catchy groove inspired melodies. If you like this genre i.e. Dropkick Murph's, Flogging Molly, and the old timer's the Clancy Bro's then you'll love this one too.

I bought two of their CDs at the same time - Stoney Road got 3 stars...this one feels a lot more polished, and I've recommended it to multiple friends. Now if only more Irish/Celtic punk bands would tour the NW...

  • Raise a pint to an awesome album!
    author: Andy Ohio

What can I say, they're an awesome band. Often compared to Flogging Molly, but personally, these guys are much better in my book. Traditional Irish folk mixed with a shot of punk rock for a Guinness soaked whiskey riddled blend making one of the best albums of the year.

  • WOW!!!
    author: Princess Kimberley

The best soddin' celtic infused punk you will ever listen to! Buy this CD, and their 'Stoney Road' CD, NOW!!! If The Sex Pistols, The Cramps, The Dust Rhinos, and The Irish Rovers were all to donate some DNA to some mad scientist, hell bent on creating one monster of a celtic band, to kick ars and shove the world into drunken fornication, the Skels would be that monster! I love every bloody song!

One of the best albums released this year. Poeticly written songs about drinking, puking (and more puking), and hearts breaking. Very funny, angry, and sometimes sad. This one is more pirate-sounding the previous Skels records (awesome) with a more electric sound. This record could get a whole pub swaying back and forth arm in arm. If you're a fan of the Pogues and Dropkick Murphys, stop wasting your life and pick this up.

  • Pass the Guinness

A bit of the Pogues, a little Flogging Molly, a pint or seven of stout. Fans of smoky pubs and spirited, chant along choruses should give this CD a listen. Favorites are, The Rain Came Pissin' Down and the slower, sadder Come Hell or High Water. Great stuff all around. Where's me boots?

  • killer
    author: Dan Eternal Dragon

The Skels' latest release has great sound and keeps things real in an often gimmick-oriented genre. These guys would eat wannabes for breakfast, with beer.'Port In Any Storm' delivers street-punk influenced, damn-straight up Celtic drinking and crying songs. Lyrics and music and passion measure up. Hugely recommended.

  • Great, lively makes ya wanna party and have a good time.
    author: John C. Gaughan

Great lively Irish party songs. The songs selection is great.
