notes
Stoney Road is the follow-up to 1998's The Book of Skels.
Packed with six new original tunes as well as four arrangements of Irish traditionals, Stoney Road captures all of the facets of the band to see when you're planning on getting so drunk you don't remember your name.
This re-issue actually conatins all of the tracks from The Skels first effort, "The Book of Skels." So, you get two records for the price of one!

Loved It !
author: Nige from the UKNever heard of the Skels before, but coming from the UK I am a massive Shane Macgowan fan, I started collecting CD from the USA of Flogging Molly & The Tossers, and I think the Skels rate high up there with them, great CD fantastic tracks, please tour the UK.

The traditional folk music felt like the group was off the mark. It's assumed that kind of stuff happens when the music is live, but becomes less impressive. As an upside, I have Finest White Girl on frequent replay.
A Great Collection of Songs

Stoney Road is quite possibly the greatest collection of songs ever produced.
