Just discovered this group. I stumbled on to them thru the Steve Forbert connection. This is one of those rare cd's you like to listen to without skipping a single track. Buy it now!

If you think it is impossible for a band to cover Sonny Bono or Peter, Paul, & Mary and make it rock like thunder, then you need to hear this record. The Skeletons are an incredibly tight band of hilariously loose musicians who communicate their love of popular music in all its forms. Their originals prove they know what they're doing. Humor, rhythm, chops, and backbeat - the little things that add up to one big record. Tom Tabor has done the world a favor here. Don't miss it!

  • Buy this CD - it's outstanding!

This review is for the uninitiated, for the established Skele-Fans had surely ordered this fine cd as soon as word got out of its pending release. This is an infectious band, playing infectious music – toe-tapping, head-swaying, get out of your chair and DANCE music. Amazingly talented musicians (age-old question: why isn’t this band more widely known?!) who don’t take themselves too seriously – they have fun with cover material you haven’t thought about for years (but after hearing these guys do that song, it’ll be stuck in your head for days) as well as original material, that in a perfect world, would be pop classics. Grateful nod Tom Taber and The Skeletons for making these great recordings available – buy it NOW, then also complete your music library with The Skeleton’s earlier releases. You’ll thank me.
