notes
Light It Up is Skavenjah's fourth album, and was released in 2003.
During their 16 years together, many bands have come and gone, but Skavenjah remains one of the constants in the world of SKA music. Skavenjah has worked very hard to become one of North America’s premiere SKA bands, and the strong songwriting on their new album, together with their incredible live show is proof of that. From their home base on the prairies the band tours relentlessly, continually expanding on it’s already dedicated worldwide following as they consistently sell out shows with their trademark mix of SKA, Reggae and Soul music.
In addition to over 20 International compilation appearances, Skavenjah has released 5 full-length albums – Put Some Skank In Your Tank (1993), All Dressed Up (1996), Little Monsters (1999), Light It Up (2003) and El Ritmo de la Vida (2006).
