Skamasutra is a six-piece Ska band based out of Exeter, New Hampshire. For over four years Skamasutra has given the Northeast nothing but the best the Ska genre has to offer. Performing for audiences from Maine to Connecticut Skamasutra has spread its unique blend of Ska, Rock, and Jazz like dandelion seeds in the wind. Appealing to audiences as diverse as their influences Skamasutra has had the honor and privilege of sharing the stage with: Go Jimmy Go, Gym Class Heroes, The Pietasters, The Planet Smashers, The Slackers, Streetlight Manifesto, The Toasters, Voodoo Glow Skulls, and Westbound Train.
Skamasutra's new album, "Let Come What May" features eight original tracks and showcases the band’s musical maturation over the past two years. Drawing from a diverse palate of influences Skamasutra has blended them together to form a sound this is truly unique - but not wholly unfamiliar. Fans of their first CD, “You And What Army?” will recognize the new album as the work of an older, more established Skamasutra.
