This kirtan was recorded at Laughing Lotus Yoga Center in New York City, shortly after hurricane Katrina sent waves of devastation across the Gulf Coast and grief across the hearts of the world. Sean and the band had just evacuated from their native New Orleans, raw from the experience of watching their beloved city battered. The Laughing Lotus Birthday celebration was transformed into a Benefit to help heal and uplift the lives of all that have been affected.
