How goes it, friend? Hope you are having a great day!

My name is S. Rebecca and I thank you for surfing by:) If you are feeling "stuck" in your life from the same choices, lifestyles, and self-esteem thoughts that do not bring you the NEW LIFE you hope for...THIS is the stop for you. Just click on any of the songs and begin to feel better...know why? Because you will not feel so alone, nope not all!

The reason why I know about all of the "stuck" choices, lifestyle and self-esteem thing is because that was ME!!! And when I reached out and found God within me (and not up in the sky somewhere), I felt not so alone and I began to sing...believe it or not, that was when I was 14 and wrote me first song, though I thought actually it was more like a cry for help to God..but it worked for me and I have been singing my Life and God experiences since! I hope they touch and support you.

I know they can lift you up, because I am not singing them alone, but with God, so already you have two people with you:)and where 2 or 3 are gathered, there is the Lord! So go ahead and take a listen and see what great places you may land:) No better place than in the arms of God,

S. Rebecca Shinas, OP, Dominican Sister of Mission San Jose, is an awesome composer, prayer leader, storyteller and singer. Her presentations and music reaches into the hearts of all and allows each to know themselves as loved and forgiven by our compassionate and loving God. Her Concerts are always LIVE and AWESOME! Jesus truly is the "ROCK IN HER ROLL!"

S. Rebecca received her masters from Santa Clara University in Pastoral Ministries with a specialty in “Spirituality”, hence Sister's love and commitment to interfaith communication and understanding.

Currently S. Rebecca is the Adult Spiritual Formation coordinator at St. Simon Parish in Los Altos, CA., She is a spiritual director and enjoys the personal and communal sharing of God experiences with many.
S. Rebecca believes in ecumenism and feels a strong call, even a passion, if you will, for our young adults, especially the unchurched. There is such a message of love and acceptance she wants them to hold. Jesus isn't just about church, but about hearts and relationships, YOUR Heart indeed!

    S. Rebecca, Although I am a practicing Spiritualist, I am of One God, One Power, and One Love. I am very active in my church and am always looking for new songs for our congregation to sing. I have used several of your songs and the congregation has enjoyed the words, and music. Thank you for sharing your talents with the world. Just goes to show everyone....our religons are only different in the traditions that we have set to express ourselves to God. The God that I express myself to is the same God that you and cousin Charley and Auntie Mame, and the man doing Yoga also express themselves to! In Peace, Love and a Giggle Rachael
