I have several favorites, ie: talk to me, crucify, one joy, awakening and imagination are my top picks from this cd. But most of all, I enjoy the girls live, because they make the auditions come alive with their music. They all have such an energy that fills the room. At times Peepa sounds like Cher and some songs, they likethe Spice Girls.
clear, fresh funky sound with feeling and lots of energy

Bring It On Home, Sisters!
author: Robert J. SpearThe Sisters' first album was entitled "Pursuit of the Groove." In this, their second album, they've arguably caught it. Although a bit less spontaneous, "Girl" is a tighter, more unified, and better-recorded album than "Groove," although I miss the acapella breaks, ladies! The Sisters put so much heat into their ballads that "Crucify" left 5.1 piles of ashes in my listening room, but I like them best when they're just rockin' and rollin'. In my favorite, "Up To You," the band is simply having too much fun; Blaze hits her groove early, and it just drives me to my feet. This disc spends a lot of time in my player, just going round and round, round and round . . .
What can I say except that Crucify & Awakening puts me in another place
author: LoriLadies, I finally found the sound, style and lyrical integrity I;ve been looking for in "Women's Music". Crucify & Awakening should be on the Top 40 radio stations; they not only rock but they are delivered with such power and intensity its unreal. Keep funking Lori
