In 2001, two New York City educators, Shawn C. Chandler and Ronald C. Speed-Bey Jr., founded Sing 2 School, Inc.

Mr.Chandler is a certified teacher with a Masters Degree in Secondary Education. Mr. Speed-Bey is a paraprofessional for special education children and a professional music producer.

Sing 2 School, Inc. is an educational entertainment company located in New York City. The company creates educational music CDs to teach children.

  • My daughter finally found a way to learn her Multiplication facts!

    My daughter is nine and has had a very difficult time memorizing her times tables. She came to believe she just couldn't do it. Thank goodness a friends' 7 year old son showed me his CD Multiplication Hip Hop. She is listening and singing, dancing AND learning her times tables. How cool is that?!

    We purchased this CD for our Grandson. He loves it. He is only 4 but you will be surprised how he soaks up the lessons, not even realizing it. When he finally reaches school, he will already be ahead of the game. Loved this CD. Buy Parent's and Grandparent's buy. I was leary at first about the Hip Hop part. I was wrong. This is a great CD.

    This CD is wonderful! The music is hot & my 10 year old loves it. It helped her to brush up on the ones that she knew & memorize the ones that she didn't know in a fun way. Plus, it's not all long and boring. My 3-year old is even walking around spitting the lyrics and making requests of her favorites on the CD :-)

    Ironically I am not a teacher, but I have many friends who are. When I emailed the link of this cd to my educator friends, they were immediately in love with the concept. The kids nowadays need hip, up to date learning tools to keep them interested. This not only allows children to master the concept of having fun while learning and remembering what they learned after the music stops, it also keeps the ADULTS interested as well. You and your child will love this wonderfully put together cd. Kudos to Sing 2 School..! I hope they have more to come in other subjects! I am sold....

    Emily ran to her room after listening to the first track, changed into her "cool" dance clothes and then proceeded to dance and sing through the whole CD. This helped work off excess energy before beginning homework assignments and also review the tables. Talk about killing 2 birds with 1 stone!

    This CD is awesome. My fifth graders love it - it's not "lame" hip-hop, it's their kind of music that they listen to. We listen to it all the time in the classroom - they know all the words which means they KNOW THEIR TIMES TABLES! Any teacher who has a class that doesn't know their times tables - I highly recommend this CD!

    I read about this CD in an article in the Washington Post. After I received it and listened to it with my daughter, I thought this is a great way for her to learn her multiplication tables. She now walks around the house with it playing in her portable CD player, singing along with it. She has already made progress. Thanks alot guys!!
