notes
There’s more to this band than a clever play on words. A Simple Complex has quickly begun making waves on the music scene, forging their own distinct heavy sound that makes them an ideal rock band for the new century; “Heavy enough for the mosh pit... Rock enough for the radio.”
A Simple Complex formed in late 2002, and by spring of 2004, the band began rocking the local scene. With a slew of unique but contemporary hard rock originals, they have gained a reputation throughout New England for rocking the local clubs and amassing an ever-growing fan base. Their 2007 debut album Undo the Damage delivers in its promise to "bring back the days of heavy-laden guitar riffs and thought-inspiring lyrics" (source: Hippo Press Oct 2007).
A Simple Complex has performed with such national acts as Powerman 5000, Drowning Pool, The Misfits, Nonpoint, Ra, MOD, Nothingface, Silent Civilian, God Forbid, Crossbreed, Halestorm, Jacknife and more, as well as local New England greats Till We Die, Candy Striper Death Orgy, Window Pain, Stoic, Disorder by Design, Wretched Asylum, Full Tilt, Synj, Fallow, DCM, Mindset X, Broken Mindz and others.
A Simple Complex is generating interest with record labels, magazines, clubs, colleges and the news media across the country. A Simple Complex has been featured in the Hippo Press as well as heard on WGIR "ROCK 101" FM (NH), WRBC FM (ME), WLFC FM (OH), Rage Rock Radio, Spiderbite Radio, Artists International Independent Radio and various podcasts including Keith and the Girl.
As the offers continue to pour in, the band is ready to take it to the next level and join the ranks of other heavy hitters, such as Godsmack, Sevendust, Disturbed, Deftones, Prong, et al.
