Most every song on this CD was written during my mom's seven month battle with cancer before she passed away on Easter Sunday in 2003. During the worst time of my life the Lord gave me His peace that passes understanding and I was able to put my trust in Him in a way that I had never known. Through that devastating time He gave me an avenue to release the feelings that were welling up in the depths of my soul. If it had not been for the Lord and His strength I would not have been able to endure the loss of my mom. Not only did I endure and overcome I was able to write songs of peace and comfort for others to hear and gain the same peace and comfort the Lord so graciously bestowed upon me.
