Siavash is a Persian/World Music superstar who has sold out venues around the world and produced 7 succesful albums. With a golden tenor voice, he is the first persian artist to top the Eurodance and Latin pop charts at MP3. In the year 2003, 3 of his English songs from his album "The Voice" made it onto the 46th Annual Grammy nomination list, including 3 English tracks from "The Voice" DANCE CATEGORY: Track 1 "Crazy Fire" and BEST MALE POP VOCAL PERFORMANCEE: Track 4 "Brown Eyes" & Track 8 "Everytime"

His first album, Hamsayeha, was the first album out of the United States to break a persian artist in America, Young and fresh, with a sizzling look and voice, he was an instant success, selling 500,000 copies world wide and it is still selling today. He was the first persian artist to modernize persian music and his albums are forbidden and sold illegally, by the millions in Iran. His fans in Iran have been arrested for carrying just a poster of him. Although his albums are blackmarketed in Iran, he has sold hundreds of thousands of albums in the United States, Canada, London, All of Europe, & Dubai. 6 albums later, Siavash's music has crossed over to other cultures, including English & Spanish and is enjoyed by people of many languages. Album Description "The Voice"
"The Voice" is a revolutionary album in Persian & World Music, that mixes Siavash's soulful lyrics and voice with the most explosive Pop And Ballad rythms. This is a treasure of harmony and voice. Track 2, Heydeyeh Iroon, is a classic Persian rythmn called "Bandari" mixed with Siavash's upbeat pop style, recorded live at "The Hollywood Palladium", you get the excitement of the crowd mixed with the pulsating rythmn and voice, creating a song you won't get tired of for years. Track 3 , Tajeh-Talah, is a beautiful melody of voice and music with a touch of latin feel, that explodes near the end in an all out latin, world, jam. Track 6, mixes the well loved persian 6/8 rhthymn, and persian lyrics, with a suprise chorus of English lyrics and 4/4 rhtymn, you can't help but move to this one. A singer with heart, Siavash puts his soul into his music and is thankful to all of his fans, they have been the light that leads the way for him. He is endlessly grateful for their support. He feels especially thankful to a younger generation that has embraces him and he feels responsibility to lead the way. He is aware of the problems facing young people today and he has a clear message to give "Honesty and kindness toward others who are the same and those who are different, Peaceful expression, love for yourself and your community and Humanity for all, these are the only answers to any questions." He has lived a drug-free life, instead choosing to speak out against drug abuse in his community. He has faced the hard times with love and belief in himself and he would like each young person to know that the only way to change society is by clean living and speaking with your heart and your mind for a better world. He feels the only way to achieve this is through education, communication and sincerity. His goals include eventually organizing a fund and program for abused children and troubled teens and reaching a wider audience with his music and message.
