Shu traveled the East Coast of these great United States throughout much of the 1990's. They were one of a handful of experimental genre-crossing bands that played the college circuit during that time.
Shu reformed in 2000 after a 3 year hiatus. Shortly afterward came this self-titled CD. 9 songs, new tunes and first-time studio versions of live Shu classics. A rock solid Shu vibe.
In 2005 saxophonist Matt Carl got back on board and the crew was complete. We now play regionally on a monthly basis and expect to hit the studio again in the coming months. This recording and others are being reissued with the launch of our new record label GFR Records.
