Since the early 90s Eric Shifrin has been performing steadily in San Francisco, both as a solo artist
and with his band Eric & the In Crowd. This year he was named The Best Piano Man '07 by SAN FRANCISCO magazine.
As Time Goes By is a solo piano album reflecting the atmosphere Eric creates at SF landmark: The Fairmont Hotel where he has been the house pianist since the turn of the century.

    reminds us of the time we lived in San Francisco and went to piano bars - great background music

    Shifrin plays the classics beautifully. The CD is definitely full and complex enough to deserve careful listening. But if the time calls for mellow background music, this CD will fill the bill.
