Shango Band has played reggae music for many years. A great deal of their sounds were influenced by greaat jazz artist such as Myles Davis, Dizzie Gelespie, Bob Marley, the legendary Scattlites of Jamaica, Grover Washington, West Montgomery and John Coltrain, Charlie Bird Parker and many others.
