Album Notes

Three talented musicians from the mountains of central Pennsylvania perform traditional music with classical and early music influences. Favorites such as Liberty (old-time American), Boys of Bluehill (Celtic), and Ashokan Farewell (Civil War series) are included, and there are also lesser known but equally wonderful tunes to discover. According to Ed Denson of Kicking Mule Records: "Down by the Sally Gardens is striking. The album is well conceived and well played. There are aspects to these tunes which I've never realized before hearing this recording."

Love them all - tops in my book

I love these talented musicians. The music is just the thing for me in my sewing room although sometimes I find my foot taping to the music which is not recommended when on the sewing machine.
