SexRat formed in an abandoned pig shack in late 2005. Started pickin' tunes, beating the pig skins, and watching the valley grass grow in the well soiled earth. All of the barnyard animals liked these horny little rats. They were given free beers and were all set up to perform down at the local swingers bar. Word got out, and people came from all over midtown to see the show. Next, SexRat was up on stage with the big boys Mike Watt, Fishbone, Pepper, Mathematicians, Bargain Music, Dead Beat Dads, Helper Monkeys, and the Snobs to list a few. The bands core is that dirty German MARC on bass/vocals, DEVIN (Grockroo) on the drums/vocals, and ZACH (Zippy) vocals/guitar. They are often joined by special guests that have included Jason Boggs (Filibuster/The Snobs), Bud Gaugh, (Sublime), Tommy Yamerone (The Yamerone Bros.), and many more. SexRat released their first self titled c.d. on their own half of nothing records june of 2007. The Suicide Girls had SexRat join them for two hours on the air on indie 103.1 sunday july 1st promoting the c.d., partying, and talking about Bigfoot. That show is available on pod cast all around the world wide web. Look for some live tracks to go up on our Half of Nothing Snocap store soon. SexRat is looking to come to your town soon for wine, cheese, and a little tom foolery.
