notes

I love guitar. I've spent many, many hours practicing and recording, and even went to music school for a couple of years (Selkirk College in Nelson B.C.). I've taught guitar lessons, and played out a bunch, and just spent time existing...but now I'm just looking to develop my 'sound'. Whatever that is... I'll find it, in the meantime you're welcome to come along with me on my quest...

I've been called a 'Shredder' but that's really not a true description. I do love technical guitar, but it isn't just about speed, sweeps and taps... My influences are wide and varied - I like Seal, but I like Malmsteen. I like Tool, but I like Vai. I like Nirvana, but I like Dream Theater. I like Bach, but I like Coltrane. I like SRV, but I like Gambale. I like Metallica, but I like Christina Aguilera... I'm into Gatton, but I'm into Hendrix... On and on it goes, and I think it reflects in my music.

The music's about whatever I want to express, whatever I'm interested in conveying at any given moment. These songs are merely a collection of snapshots of what I'm up to at the moment.

Check it out, I think you'll like it!

I actually thought after listening to this that i might have found the lost Satriani tapes or something. It is superb. It will remain in my player for quite some time. Thanx Scott for making some great tunes.

A fresh new talent, that displays with every lick, a masterful understanding on the possibilities of what the guitar can sound like in an artists hands. BRAVO............ LT ........ Wherewolf Studio
