Founded in 1995 in Atlantic Beach Florida Scholars Word has established itself as one of the most recognised reggae bands on the east coast.
Blending classic reggae with roots, dancehall and dub Scholar's Word has attracted a wide audience from the reggae purist to the rock fan.
1999 saw the release of the group's first full length album 'Rising Tide' which has been met with rave reviews.
The follow up to this Cd which has just been released is appropriately titled 'Once Again'.
Featuring five tracks 'Once Again' including four originals and a cover of Led Zepplin's Dyer Maker, the new cd has already started a buzz in the short time it has been made available as a sampler.
Fans should look for additional Tracks as well as a dub release in the near future.
