notes
Although there is plenty of truth in the saying, "there's nothing like being there", it's also true that good times and memories can be captured and enjoyed time and time, again. Such is the case with die Schlauberger's(dSb) newest recording: "dSb Live".
As the title clearly indicates, dSb has finally completed production of this long-awaited release, which will allow fans to take home a genuine slice of the "fun and energy", that is the signature of a live dSb show. First mentioned in last year's newsletter, the live CD was recorded during the band's 2003 tour, and is the band's fifth recording and fourth full-length production. And with 10+ previously unreleased dSb-performed songs, "dSb Live" will be the "must-have" item for all those who have enjoyed the band throughout the years.
As one would expect from a dSb performance, the live recording runs the gamut of life's pleasures, and rolls them all into one show, resulting in a feel-good experience from beginning to end. From the loud and boisterous sounds of a German beer hall to the electric atmosphere of a soccer stadium and from warm and sandy beaches to the dizzying heights of a true alpine experience, "dSb Live" has it all. And as the CD's big finale(Big Bang) might suggest, this recording may just be the beginning of even greater things to come.
