Th Slip away Sessions
author: Elin Bensongreat Music, vocals and lyrics. The sound is versatile and could be enjoyed by people of varying musical tastes!!
Great music. So easy on the ears.
author: Deko StoneI first received this CD several years back when it was called "Frank Morgan Slip Away". Unfortunately, it got scratched and I was devastated especially since I had trouble obtaining another one through a standard commercial website. Then I heard about CD Baby and they had the newer version of this CD and I was so relieved. It's great music.
Like a breathe of fresh air I've enjoyed this album over and over again!
author: Tim BryantThe mature phrasing lyrically and musically is inspirational he paints vivid pictures of his life's experience and somehow touches nerves that make you relate to his experience. Truly a WORK of ART!
Classic Giants
author: Erwino OuwerkerkIt's a strange experience, listening to this cd. Although it's all original work, everytime again I have the feeling I listen to old classic giants. That makes sense considering the fact that 'The Slip away sessions' is the product of great musicians working together. The good news however is that the same goes for the songs. What can I tell you guys who haven't heard this yet? John Hiatt comes in mind. With a little of Rockwell church, a touch of the Courage brothers, even a bit of Peter Wolf. Or, if this makes it easier for you, a very warm and powerful voice with superb instrumentalists. You don't want to miss this. I'm sure.
