Laura Sawosko is a solo/acoustic artist based out of Tempe Arizona who released her fourth album which is self entitled. This first fully produced album featuring Grammy award winning drummer, Dan Marfisi, and Josh Neumann on the cello (who tours with Brandi Carlile)showcases Laura's passionate vocals and journal like songs. Laura Sawosko has come into her own and this album has something for everyone.

    Wow! Laura speaks to my soul on song after song, and brings tears to my eyes with her honest and open comments about her own hopes, fears and dreams. "Playmate" is my favorite. I have seen her live several times in Door county, Wisconsin, but I will never get tired of seeing her perform. Everybody needs to hear this music! The best part? She is as sweet in real life as she appears on her songs. What a treat!

    Laura Sawosko is a multi-talented artist comparable to Sarah Maclachlan. Ms. Sawosko presents personal and intimate lyrics through her expressive voice. Her guitar playing ranges from percussive strumming along the lines of Ani Defranco or the Indigo Girls to the intricate finger picking reminiscent of Tracy Chapman.
