As part of an ever-changing music scene and a local community experiencing constant growth, Saravain has managed to find their place and develop a musical style that remains distinct. Borrowing elements from several genres and continuously mixing them with new inspiration has led to the bands unique blend of rock. Attend a show and experience everything from brutal screams and guitar harmonies of Metal/Hardcore, to catchy vocals and melodic interludes found in Pop/Emo. The passed two years have provided opportunities for the band to share the stage with various acts such as My American Heart and Stars Hide Fire, all the way to Across Five Aprils and Through the Eyes of the Dead. They were even fortunate enough to land a spot on the 2005 Vans Warped Tour. The release of their debut full length came in November 2004 on the short-lived local label, Bury Your Hero Records. Since then, the band has promoted their album and written songs for a more mature, sophomore release. With members who have been writing together for nearly five years, Saravain continuously finds ways to create music which can be loved and shared by the band and the audience alike.
