St. Louis-area singer and commentator Sandi Anthony is pleased to announce the release of her latest CD God Bless America/America Bless God: Preference or Principle. The album features soaring vocal renditions of a dozen beloved patriotic anthems and Christian hymns including "God Bless America," "How Great Thou Art," "An American Trilogy," and "Amazing Grace." The CD is available through Cdbaby.com.

Anthony, whose background includes extensive stage time as a singer as well as patriotic activist and a political candidate, recorded God Bless America/America Bless God as a unique way of sending a warm-hearted message of love to her fellow Americans. The title expresses Anthony's hope that her countrymen will understand and return the blessings that have been bestowed on the United States for over 200 years. In addition, her selection of patriotic anthems is aimed at honoring U.S. soldiers, "who gave their lives, and for our troops still fighting for freedom around the world." "There's no greater love than that," she adds.

Sandi Anthony has lived in the St. Louis, MO area most of her life, where she has pursued a musical path for many years. She started out singing mainly country music, but has since branched out to bring Christian, Gospel, and patriotic standards to restaurants, churches and private clubs. Anthony ran for public office in 1993, and is a strong advocate of "God and Country" rallies and other charitable events where she regularly performs. She has appeared at the Roy Clark Celebrity Theatre in Branson, the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, where she was a contestant on "You Can Be a Star," and had the honor of meeting country music great Roy Acuff and others.

Of her experience recording God Bless America/America Bless God, she says, "I've never enjoyed anything more than having the privilege of creating and producing this CD, as I was honored to display the love I have for God and my country, all on the same album".

Sandi has a beautiful voice and she takes these old favorite hymns and patriotic songs and delivers them at a new height of excellence. It is heart warming and inspiring. I strongly urge you to add this to your cd collection it will be one of your most prized.
