"Blown away. Either to be blown away or to be left in peace and quietness – this is what everyone desperately wants these days. To be absolutely taken in by something – something you believe in, something that calms you down and something that’s blinding out the rest of the world when you’re breathing it in. “Rune” by Sanction IV is definitely the right soundtrack to a feeling like this.

With much heart and passion, Sanction IV created a unique mix of Electronica, Trip-Hop and acoustic performances. The melodies are fresh like warm winds in spring and still fragile like a butterflys wings. The beats are emphasizing the vulnerable characters of the songs but they are also setting enough muscles on them for the cold cold world. The strong debut of Sanction IV shows the intense inner world of brainchild (songwriter and producer) Merlin Leuenberger: it is true passion needless of words. We can be sure that “Rune” was just the beginning for him."
