notes
Samuel Ryan was born on the island of Montserrat, West Indies more than fifty years ago. He started singing in 1957 as a calypsonian and was crowned the first Calypso King of the island of Antigua, West Indies under the name of "KING STYLER".
He migrated to St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands in the early 60s and was the lead vocalist for the most popular band - Milo and the Kings.
Sam (as he is more popularly known) has performed in the US mainland and Canada with Milo and ..., bringing audiences to their feet at dancehalls such as the Hunts Point Palace, Rockland palace, Carlton Terrace and the beautiful Palladium on Broadway.
After pursuing a solo career, he released his first calypso album in the 70s and another in the 80s. After he became a christian, he decided to praise the Lord in Song with his first gospel album in 1986 entitled "Happineess at Last". Now he has released his latest gospel album "Turn Your Back on Satan". It is really a remarkable work of musical art.
Samuel is Singer, Composer, Producer and Entertainer.
