notes
People Living was completed in March 2005 and is set to become the breakout album for singer-songwriter-guitarist Sam Fisher. Recorded in Atlanta GA with producer songwriter Dan Hannon, People Living mixes rock and roll, neo soul, and old school R&B and features guest performances by Trey Anastacio's drummer Skeeto Valdez and keyboardist Terrell Taylor. From the rousing cover of Shuggie Otis' "Inspiration Information" to the gospel inspired song of hope "Countin On Love", People Living takes the listener back to a time when soul music was about passion and awareness in the world around us. Scheduled for a July 2006 release, People Living is sure to be SBMG Records landmark release and will certainly win the hearts of young and old alike.

This is my new favorite CD. There is just something about Sam Fishers music that makes me feel good. I have recommended this CD to several of my friends and would happily recommend it to everyone.
Nice Album
author: CIAI'm very glad I found out about this artist. His music is an great example of great songwriting and gives the listener enough room to appreciate every sound and still want more. "In The Grey" is my favorite song on this record. The lyrics, the voice and melody all match. I cannot wait to hear more from this artist.
Great music, great songs, great disc!
author: Stoik! This CD is great; the perfect blend of soul/rock/pop. Sam has been great since I started seeing him with Weekend Excursion, and he has only progressed. His band here is great, and really make the songs jump out of the speakers. I definitely recommend this CD!
Good to hear Sam again, but where's the live feel?
author: Matt BeadnellI like the CD, but i remember hearing you all play at the Lighthouse Tavern, Elon NC. I always thought Sam had some pipes. I miss the live feel, but am happy you guys are on your way.
Sam is moving on and continuing to write great music.
author: BobWhat a great cd. It starts out with some songs that make you dance while driving and then on to some very powerful songs. I reccomend this cd to fans of all genres.
People Living is Fantastic!
author: Celeste WallsThis CD is one of the best I own. Its rare to find a CD you can listen to from start to finish these days, and this is on of them! Put it on and let it go! Great writing, great musicians! It'll "make ya feel good," as Sam says on track 2!
A Breath of Fresh Air in a Sea of Mediocrity
author: Jason WalshPeople Living by Sam Fisher, has what not many other CD's out there today have on them- talent! Sam's creativity and heart show through in his songs. His lyrics carry intelligence, not mindless, repetitive, dribble; which is what seems to sell today. His voice can carry a song by itself, without any backup or studio magic. I have seen him live and he is the real deal. This CD is a must own!
