Sal Valentino
Dreamin' Man
© 2006 Valentino/Blakeley (837101120890)
CD permanently out of stock. Sorry!
There are many different styles on this album. It has some country and blues influence but is basically pop. Sal, remember, was with a band called the Beau Brummels in 1966. He was a great singer then and he is now. He is a credible soul.

A San Francisco legend returns with one of his strongest efforts ever.
author: Karl AndersonSal Valentino has one of the best and most unique voices to come out of the 1960's. The Beau Brummels were the first San Francsico and US band to have a number one hit after the Beatles invaded America. Sal Valentinos importance to music is hard to express. In the 1960 he covered so many styles including one of the most infulential country rock albums Bradleys Barn. To his forray with Bay Area Band Stoneground. On Dreamin Man Sal really makes a strong comback. He vocals are as good as ever and even a little more soul with age. A great collection of songs with a good rock and country feel. This cd is truly one of Sal's best recordings in his lifetime. It rivals Bradleys Bard and triangle.
