author: druethey say it takes half a life to write your first book/record our first album and all that. it definitely sounds like it with Old Joy New Joy. what a breadth of style assimilated with incredible ease on this record! this record is as uplifting and positively soulful as anything i've heard lately. did you hear them on KCRW?!
