Salt & Samovar are coming out with their first collective debut entitled "Old Joy, New Joy." This self-titled album was a solo effort by David Moltz which began the use of the name Salt & Samovar. On the self-titled, David plays almost everything. Now it is a band.

Strong kickoff!!!
author: JerryThis CD has a great old school recording quality. it sounds like it was recorded in the 60s. Love the voice! Love We Will Break!
Great sound
author: moonmomI love the sound of the band on this album, and I love the variety--from the dark "Faded Mer" to the countryish "Smell of the Ocean". Very imaginative, great guitar playing! The singer reminds me a bit of Jim Morrison on certain songs--not in a derivative way, but in the tone and timbre of his voice. Keep it up.
