Salmon Suede is Ez T. Manly, Scooter H. Bombly and B-Rad Von Schnowzer. Salmon Suede's dark industro-pop funk infusion was forged in the dark and murky depths of North Portland's Dawson Park. Three of the four founding members of Salmon Suede originate from South Central Idaho, bringing with them a country twinge, and an understanding of the stark emotions of rural American life. After many years apart, individually experiencing the forbidden fruits of existence, the members of Salmon Suede found themselves in the same city once again and knew they needed to seize the musical moment. All three members picked up their scant belongs and enormous talent to move in together to a house of substantial rock. The perfect place was found on North Williams Ave. Surrounded by baptist churches, Salmon Suede soon began adopting the soulful strains of gospel music which drifted in through the windows and up through the floor boards. Salmon Suede's influences and aspirations are as varied as the American experience, reflecting the strength, beauty, and pain of life's absurdity.
