Twenty-two years of performing in New Orleans influenced this soulful vocalist and keyboardist – Sally Townes. This is her 5th recording project and by far her best. The CD consists of 12 all original and mostly blues tracks. The songs have great arrangements and harmonies with solos and flavorings by Sally’s keyboards and some very funky and soulful musicians. Great Original Blues songs with some smoking keyboard riffs
author: John AutinI loved this CD! Of course I'm a big Sally Townes fan, but that aside, Sally really dug down deep with the song writing on this one. The keyboard work and the vocal arrangements are really killer. Nice help from some of her new Foridian musicians. Sally was a mainstay here in New Orleans and we miss her terribly. At least I get to hear this great CD when ever I get the urge to go down to Bourbon St. and hear her live and then remember.... she's not there. But our loss is Forida's gain.
