Susurro is a shared, intimate musical gathering: a pure gypsy guitar solo in a north indian folk song calling the village to harvest. The haunting sound of Spanish guitar and cello improvising a centuries-old Indian 'charukeshi' raga. The Spanish poet federico garcía lorca sung in Hindi over a blend of South Indian and flamenco rhythms.
[ ~ ]
"Susurro" is a world music debut by an accomplished global ensemble, combining the talents of guitarist Sacha Silva, multi-instrumentalist / composer Andrew Morgan and Indian singer Munya B.
Weaving together the artistic traditions of Spanish flamenco, north and south Indian classical music, and contemporary western music.
[ ~ ]
"Susurro" has been described as 'jaw-dropping', 'unforgettable and startling' (CDBaby.com), 'sophisticated and delicate' (Radio Centraal, Belgium).

a pearl, a promise - pure poetry
author: iris trinklerlet's only whisper this, because we don't want everybody to find out about this beautiful piece of music! only our most intimate and cherished friends! Those who merit being enchanted by such a tender love affair between mystical indian vocal tunes, that open the heart in yearning for paradise, drums and a very fine flamenco guitar. I guess this music is of the future, whereas it feels as if it was of a time before we were conscious...

While mixing together North and South Indian classical music with flamenco might not be the first thing to come to mind when considering world fusion, Sacha Silva does so with jaw-dropping beauty and sophistication. Perhaps it is the embellished and ornate nature of both musical cultures, but the dance between styles, scales, harmonies and cultures in "Susurro" is unforgettable and startling in the most powerful of ways. Combining the passionate cry of Spanish guitar and cello dialoguing with Indian Charukeshi raga as well as the poetry of Spanish poet, Federico García Lorca, sung in Hindi over traditional Karnatic and flamenco rhythms, Sacha Silva has unveiled a stunning, captivating voice that leaves a lasting impression.
