Can't Go Home
author: Loren WelchRight away I knew this beautiful young lady was singing from her heart! Even though I had listened to her songs on her web site many times, I still had to buy her EP. I am way old enough to be her father and yet I am totally able to relate to her music. "Can't Go Home" is very haunting to those of us who have been there and it is so true. "Daddy" reminds me of my own daughter who I would recognize on the street. Ferris Wheel and Dancing Alone are also great songs well done.

It is heartbreaking and inspirational at the same time.
author: LoriMY only complaint about the album Cant Go Home is that it is too short. It is so ridiculously good that I just want to hear more and because there are only 4 songs..So, I have been listening to the same 4 over and over and over again...getting something new from each song after every time I listen to them. Her lyrics are heartbreaking and inspiritational at the same time. I feel like she is singing to me and I have never even met her before..This music speaks to the depths of my soul!!!
Outstanding EP from an extremely talented artist!
author: JenI picked up Sabrina's EP at one of her recent acoustic shows and have been listening to it continually ever since. When I first heard Sabrina and her beautiful voice my first thoughts were - wow!! And why haven't I heard of her before? And as the Notes above stated, whether she's alone giving an acoustic performance, or onstage with her full band, Sabrina's a truly outstanding & talented artist. She's a real genuine and original artist and a completely fresh new talent. And I'd also like to add that Sabrina and her full band really rock!! The EP's four songs are a combination of catchy pop sounding and country-esque tunes. But I wouldn't even put her in any category of "pop sounding" tunes heard on radio these days. Sabrina's are better! When I first heard a few of her songs I thought her voice or style was somewhat similar to Jewel's but Sabrina has an original style all her own and can't be compared to anyone. Sabrina's vocals are gorgeous, sweet and mellow and she has an incredible range with a captivating voice. Her songwriting skills are amazing, unique, interesting, heartfelt and all her material is well written. Can't Go Home is an amazingly beautiful track but then so is Ferris Wheel and Daddy, etc, etc. The only down side is the EP just isn't long enough, looking forward to a longer CD soon. This EP is truly a masterpiece with highly listenable songs that you'll listen to over & over. Canada's loss... is definitely LA's gain.
Can't Go Home is my favourite myspace track, I LOVE this lady & really want to m
author: XZOOBSabrina's vocals on each track are so sweet, soothing & sexy that I have become totally besotted with her. Can't Go Home is sung with such honesty & passion, that I just have to keep on playing it & it makes me want to take her into my life, to protect her from more hurt.Daddy also has a similar affect while all the tracks are performed to excellence by her very lucky band. This lady REALLY SHOULD be signed & be my WIFE.

author: Sincere admirer, Amy JoyceAll I want to say, is that not only have I faithfully listened to this cd everyday since the minute I got it, but anyone that I have played it for has found some sort of connection. In our own individual way, we have all found different meanings and inspirations in our hearts from this music.. Listening to this cd ALWAYS brings up deep, fun and heart filled conversations to any room it is played in.. If you haven't heard it, you have GOT to check it out!! It is SOO worth it, I promise!
great voice, great music and incredible song writing.
author: Bill McCoyThere’s a great deal of wannabe musicians running around Los Angeles with a guitar and a dream. Most of them should get back on the bus and go home to Kansas, West Virginia...where ever it was they boarded that Greyhound. Sabrina Taylor is not one of them.Sabrina’s music is a little bit country, a little bit folk, a little bit pop and a whole lot of good stuff to listen to. The first track on the EP is “Dancing Alone”. A up tempo pop friendly track that should appeal to a wide audience. “Daddy”, the second track, takes a bit of a different direction. More country/pop, it’s a song about and absent father and missing that presence in her life. I dig the song. Very up for such a down topic. The title track, “Can’t Go Home” is a piano ballad that shows off Taylor’s singing ability, which is great. She’s got a unique sound with her Canadian inflections coming through. A pleasure to listen to. Last up on the EP is “Ferris Wheel”. This tune screams Jewel circa Pieces of You. You know me, I love some Jewel! I dig this EP and am looking forward to hearing more from Sabrina Taylor. She’s got a great voice, great music and incredible song writing.
this girl should be signed!!!!!!
author: kerry thomasi've been watching this girl for the past 3 years in la. im a huge supporter of local bands in this los angeles area, but i have to say that no one comes close to being as talented, thoughtful, touching and intune with her audience as this girl. her cd is the best sounding cd i have heard in quite some time now. all of the songs are radio friendly and are much better then whats on the radio today! this girl needs to be signed!!!
